SHOW-YA “Showdown” Digipack

SHOW-YA sitzen seit Jahren fest auf dem Thron der weiblichen Metalszene in Japan. Die 1981 gegründete Band löste sich 1998 auf, feierte aber 2005 anlässlich des 20-jährigen Jubiläums ihres Debutalbums eine Reunion im original Line Up. Anlässlich ihres 35-jährigen Bandjubiläums entstand mit "SHOWDOWN" ein bodenständiges Album mit starkem Heavy-Metal-Einschlag.

SHOW-YA has been sitting on the throne of the Japanese female metal scene. With their national hit songs, TV appearances, and Japan's biggest female band event held by SHOW-YA themselves, they are one of the most well-known heavy metal acts in this country, whether be it male or female. Commemorating their 35th anniversary, "SHOWDOWN" turned out to be a more or less back-to-the-roots album with strong heavy metal spirits.
