Airstream CD »Kingdom of isolation«

Airstream ist die neue Band von Staffan ( Stiff ) Karlsson, dem ehemaligen Sänger von Sky of Rage.

Nach Sky of Rage hatte Stiff ein neues Konzept im Kopf - eine Band im Hard Rock / AOR-Stil mit Geschichtenerzähler-Elementen.

Er begann, eine Band zusammenzustellen. Am Bass fand er Micke Höglund von Thunder.

Sie hatten in jüngeren Jahren zusammen gespielt und es fühlte sich richtig an, sich wieder zusammenzutun.

Mikke begann, Lied für Lied aufzunehmen, und Stiff war wirklich beeindruckt...

Für die Tournee-Besetzung heuerten sie Tommy Moon und Mathias Brask von der Band Beat the Brat an.


Da Stiff als Songwriter für große Firmen arbeitete, stand er in Kontakt mit Gladys Del Pilar ( Afrodite ). Sie mochte die Airstream-Aufnahmen und stellte Kee Marcello als Gitarrist für die Aufnahme vor.

Airstream is the new band of Staffan ( Stiff ) Karlsson, former singer of Sky of Rage.

After Sky of Rage Stiff had a new concept in mind – a band in the Hard Rock / AOR Style with storyteller elements.

He started to put a band together. On the Bass he found Micke Höglund from Thunder.

They had played together in younger years and if felt right to join forces again.

Mikke started to record song by song and Stiff was really impressed..

For the touring line up they hired Tommy Moon and Mathias Brask from the Band Beat the Brat.

Since Stiff is working as a songwriter for major companies, he is in touch with Gladys Del Pilar ( Afrodite ). She liked the Airstream recordings and introduced Kee Marcello to play Guitar on the recording.
